(1-25 of 50)- The way files are uploaded into folders is very organized.
- It is very easy to create an account and upload files.
- You do not need a trainer to learn how the system works. You just log and upload.
- The limitation of the overall size can be increased.
Google Drive application takes you to another world of file management, ease, and access to your work from anywhere

- Excellent for Google Forms as output and the forms are stored in G drive by default.
- Negligible downtime. Always up and running.
- More free space can be provided in view of market competition.
- GDrive can come in more attractive user interface.
- Gdrive needs to be marketed more aggressively for user awareness.
My two cents on Google Drive

- Should support more file types like TIFF, PSD etc.

Google Drive: The gold standard of storage
- Easy user interface: The service is very user-friendly. Even a novice can get his/ her way around the platform. The files are easy to segregate. Files of different types can be stored here and searched and viewed with ease
- .2. Compatibility with various devices: The platform can be accessed on various devices- mac, android, et al. The search and filter features are really helpful.
- Easy sharing: The files can be easily shared. The sender has the option to give appropriate permission to the receiver to view, edit, comment, or do all of them. The speed of downloading and uploading files is quite slow. The process is time-consuming. A good internet connection is a must to access a file that is even slightly heavy-sized.
- The speed of downloading and uploading files is quite slow. The process is time-consuming. A good internet connection is a must to access a file that is even slightly heavy-sized.
- There are limits on the size of the files making it a not so favorable platform for large-sized data sharing.
- One big problem with the platform is that only those users who have Gmail accounts can edit files. People using other domains can only view Google Drive files. This can be a huge setback for organizations using other domains.
Google Drive
- File sharing both on local computers and from clients.
- Such easy access from the top tool bar on our Mac.
- I like the security of it.
- Google Drive fits nicely into our Google suite of services.
- Internet connection required.
- Privacy precautions.
- Uploading and downloading large files often takes longer than normal.
Review of Google Drive
- Easily sync all your files.
- The free version includes 15GB of storage.
- Ability to share files with your team.
- Integration with other Google apps.
- Google should give some extra GB for free users.
- Needs high speed internet to upload files.
- Google Drive is a little expensive for most users.
Use Google Drive and save money
- For management purposes, we are using it to share and collect documents from different departments on a centralized drive which is associated with directors' mail ID.
- For students, we are using it to collect various feedbacks and documents when required. We are also sharing teaching material, notes, and model test papers using drives. For quizzes, we are using Google Forms which is again a part of Google Drive.
- So, in short, in this pandemic time, we are using it as an office tool, as well as a learning management system.
- First and foremost, you can use it to keep your documents online and download them when required.
- Second, you can share the documents and can work in the collaboration with other people in a shared file, so distance is no longer a thing to consider.
- You can collect reviews or feedback for any product or training in a very little time.
- You can conduct quizzes online.
- Reports are presented using spreadsheets as well as in the form of pie and bar charts.
- UI is a bit complicated to understand for beginners who are not from a technical background.
- Internet isa must, requires a little higher bandwidth.
- One more problem is in public folders anyone can edit and delete the files created by other users; I think that should be controlled. A person can edit only the files created by him/ her.
The best free way to collaborate!
- Ample free space (15 GB) and ability to expand.
- High and reliable security features you can trust.
- Availability of features to make day-to-day tasks easy and convenient.
- Supports various add-ons.
- Free service.
- Depends on internet even to activate off-line functions.
- Quality of functionalities heavily depend on internet.
- With frequent use you might feel that the free capacity 15 GB is not adequate.
Collaboration and teamwork is now easier
- Powerful compatibility with files of various extensions (audio: wav, mp3 - video: MPEG4, AVI - image: bmp, png, jpeg) and even with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word files
- Accessibility from any device with [an] internet connection regardless of the geographical area where you are
- The most determining point of this platform that makes it extremely useful is collaboration. It is so easy to share files by just giving 1 click and choosing the person we want to add either for viewing only or for editing the file.
- Advanced File Search, personally I find it uncomfortable to search for files with specific extensions within my drive in Google Drive, the interface is not very clear and the search options are limited, making this work tedious.
- In applications like Google Sheets, the number of cells is extremely small, which limits the amount of information that can be saved, this makes the tool focus on small files.
- Inherited permissions, it happens to me that in certain shared files when analyzing the permissions granted to the participants some of them are left with owner permissions without having given such property, that point is confusing so I would like the interface to be clearer.
-Storage, editing and collaboration of files to access them from any device with an internet connection, promoting teamwork.
-With the Google Forms function, it is ideal for gathering information quickly and easily, reaching our clients wherever they are.
Inappropriate:
-Store large volumes of data in Spreadsheets since they have limitations in number of cells and / or file size.
- Its ease of use and implementation.
- Its high storage capacity.
- It is easy to share files and supports different file formats.
- Its integration with GSuite.
- Internet connection required.
- Uploading and downloading large files often takes longer than normal.
- Privacy precautions.
With Google Drive all is well.
- That's the first cloud storage service that's both good and free. using more and more data in one place is, in my view, a good strategy.
- Google Drive is one of my favorite tools and I use it frequently to store files, official documents, data, images, PDFs, and even short videos relevant to my office work.
- You don't have to be concerned with hacking because this security is so secured.
- [An] excellent option for searching.
- Configuration and login are simple.
- While using the drive, we need to be connected to the internet.
- I realized that my data on Google Drive was uploading slowly at times.
- For non-technical professionals, the user interface is a little difficult to understand.
Accessibility of Google Drive.
1) Google Sheets is used to track all the team members' data and attendance.
2) Google Docs is used to share important policy updates or macro [with] team members.
4) Google Sheets is used to create quizzes and send them to team members to check if they know of the policy of a company.
- Records attendance for team members through Google Sheets.
- Share important documents with all over team members.
- Easy to share and edit any info.
- Create a sheet and [receive] immediate feedback from team members if any issues [are] found and track them down and send them to the appropriate team to look into.
- Store important data and easy to look at it when necessary.
- They could add more free space for free users.
2) Cost-effective and easy way to communicate and share important documents with team members.
3) Easy to access from anywhere, just need to have an internet and a Google Drive account to access it.
4) Easy to upload and download from Google Drive.
5) For privacy reasons, Google Drive can be used to store important documents.
Cloud storage at a great price
- Free account.
- Variety of file storage.
- Preview and editing.
- File sharing.
- Need a Google Account to get 16 GB of storage.
- Sometimes difficult to find what is using space.
- Deleting shared files sometimes does not remove them.
- Being a Google product it is very well integrated with other Google services and I can use it with my Google account.
- It makes sharing any data file very easy. One-click and I can share my data with my colleagues.
- Dashboard navigation is very easy and quick. It does not confuse users.
- Its offline mode helps me to work when I have no internet.
- Sometimes I feel the upload speed is slightly slow even if the internet speed is fast.
- It does not allow users to copy folders the way they can be copied with keyboard shortcuts on computers.
- I am not very confident about the security which Google provides for our data. The way Google tracks users activity and provides advertisements, it's difficult to trust.
- Multi sync for many people at the same time.
- Free to use with up to 15GB.
- Fast and convenient.
- Update in real time.
- Should have warning whenever there is more than one person using a file at the same time.
The Primary DRIVER for meeting your professional and personal storage requirements is Google DRIVE.
- It gives 15GB space for meeting our cloud storage requirements.
- Integration with other Google platform apps.
- Scanning documents and ability to work offline.
- Download and upload speeds are slower at times. When the traffic in server is too much.
- File size limitation are there, any images embedded in other documents cannot exceed 2 MB.
Great Product for a Sensible Price
- Allowed multiple collaborators to work on the same document or Excel sheet at the same time.
- Provided communication features such as in-document comments and messaging.
- Allowed individuals to see past deletions and alterations made to any documents.
- Google Drive's capabilities typically function very well, unless there is a somewhat shoddy internet connection. If there is an unstable internet connection then it can take a while for changes made in the document to be saved. This may make it hard for certain individuals working remotely in areas with an occasionally unstable internet connection to be able to make or see any changes themselves.
We use Google Drive for many purposes. When I was in the marketing department, I was on the testimonial gathering team where our job was to travel to the client's office in another state and record them. As soon as the shoot used was completed, the first thing we used to do was back up all of our data on the drive. It's only after backing up the data that we used to declare the trip a success. In my current role, we use Google Drive to store multiple documents that many people collaborate on.
- No matter the internet connection, the upload and download speeds are invariably stupendous. It's like copying a file within the computer only. No file size feels formidable for it.
- I really like the drag and drop feature used to upload files. Also, the feature where you can create an offline folder on your desktop which automatically syncs all the files is simply brilliant. I don't always have to visit the website to make the changes.
- I think the interface could be updated. As soon as I open the window, I am invariably inundated by the number of files that are displayed. The view could have been structured better. A dark theme would also help.
- I don't like how every doc file that I view automatically appears in my Drive. It would be much better if the 2 views are separated, one for the folders and files I manually uploaded and the other which I viewed on Docs.
Convenient and Free
- Email, text, and print documents effortlessly.
- Easily create folders and organize documents within the Drive.
- Set a security level that you're comfortable with before sharing documents with co-workers for viewing, editing, or commenting.
- Depending on the internet connection or if you forget to close out from one device before opening it on another, some edits may not be saved.
- Document Storage: Drive enables users to store a high volume of varying types of documents. The storage limits are also extremely useful for large-sized files.
- Global Access: Drive enables users to access their saved documents anywhere with an internet connection. This improves overall throughput and accessibility.
- Permissions: Drive allows the owner of documents to share content with others in a variety of ways. This enables a largely collaborative platform.
- Drive is expensive for the amount of storage included within the price.
- File navigation has room for improvement - as it can sometimes be difficult to tell between documents shared with you and user-created ones.
- Working with Drive is most ideal when all parties also have access to Drive. Functionality is lost if a user is not logged in.
Collaborate with your team to get the job done!
- Allows team members to access, add or edit files in real-time.
- Allows me to share spreadsheets and files with non-team members.
- It is very easy to use and I love that it integrates directly to the computer so I don't have to upload and download files constantly.
- The branding isn't my favorite for Google Drive.
- It isn't as easy to use as Dropbox.
- If a file is deleted from one location, it's permanently gone from all locations.
